This October, Teerenpeli Distillery will take part in the inaugural Whisky Live Germany in Hamburg, presenting our latest single malt whisky, Soidin, to German whisky enthusiasts for the first time.
Soidin is crafted in Lahti, Finland, using exceptionally pure groundwater filtered through the ancient Salpausselkä ridges – a UNESCO Global Geopark. This natural resource, combined with high-quality Nordic malt and over two decades of distilling expertise, results in a whisky that reflects both purity and precision.
Teerenpeli Distillery, founded in 2002, has twice been named IWSC Worldwide Whiskey Producer of the Year, and continues to represent Nordic craftsmanship with integrity and care. Soidin carries a name rooted in Finnish nature and tradition – referring to the courtship rituals of birds, and echoing the playful meaning behind Teerenpeli itself.
Visitors to Whisky Live Germany will find Soidin at the Congress Center Hamburg (CCH) on October 11–12, 2025. It’s an opportunity to explore a whisky that offers a fresh perspective from the North – subtle, well-balanced, and thoughtfully made.
